About Kaelyn
I have over 8 years of experience teaching guitar and hold a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies. I specialise in ear training, transcription, and pitch development for guitarists. Lessons focus on hearing chord progressions, transcribing solos, and identifying melodic nuances. I work with students to strengthen listening, musical memory, and intuition. Each lesson is customised to fit skill level and musical goals. I emphasise practical exercises that translate directly into playing and improvisation. I teach guitar with an emphasis on reading music and understanding notation. Lessons focus on tablature, standard notation, rhythm, and sight-reading exercises.
