About Daniel
I’m an experienced Excel tutor with over 3 years of hands-on teaching and real-world spreadsheet problem solving. I work with high school students, university students, and professionals who want to build confidence in Excel from the ground up. My lessons focus on understanding why formulae work, not just memorising steps. I use practical exercises, guided walkthroughs, and real datasets to make learning stick. My teaching approach in Excel is patient, supportive, and fully personalised to each learner. I believe Excel is best learned by doing, not memorising. I start by understanding the student’s goals and current skill level. Lessons are structured but flexible. I explain concepts clearly and then apply them using real examples. We work with practical datasets so learning feels useful. I focus on building strong foundations first. This includes understanding cells, formulae, and basic functions. Once confidence grows, we move to more advanced tools. These include logical functions, lookups, and PivotTables. I encourage students to explore different ways to solve problems. Mistakes are part of the process. I help students understand why errors happen. Data visualisation is also an important focus. Charts and dashboards are explained step by step. I teach clean spreadsheet design. Organisation matters. Efficiency is always encouraged. I support students through challenges calmly. Progress is celebrated at every stage. My goal is long-term confidence. Together, we make Excel a skill you trust.
