About Jocelyn
I have over 3 years of experience tutoring math and hold a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy. I like to use interactive software such as GeoGebra and Desmos in my lessons. These tools make it easier to show students the dynamic side of geometry and trigonometry. I find that visual exploration makes learning more engaging and memorable. Spatial reasoning is a major focus of my teaching, and I believe it is a skill that benefits students far beyond mathematics. I also emphasize proof-writing, helping learners build clear and logical arguments. Real-world geometric modeling is another part of my lessons, which shows students the power of applying math outside the classroom. My teaching approach is built on clarity, patience, and deep reflection. I focus on abstract algebra, number theory, mathematical proofs, and advanced concepts.
