About Nayra
I’m a Biology tutor with over 6 years of experience and a BSc in Ecology and Conservation. I specialize in working with middle school students, introducing them to the amazing world of plants, animals, and ecosystems. My lessons are full of hands-on learning, where we explore basic life science concepts in fun and memorable ways. I often use nature observations and simple experiments, like watching seeds sprout or observing insects in a garden. I believe young learners are natural scientists—they just need the right spark. That’s why I use storytelling to bring biodiversity to life, whether it's about rainforest creatures or how bees help our food grow. I encourage students to ask questions, make predictions, and share their ideas freely. My goal is to make them feel excited about the natural world. Over the years, I’ve helped many students grow curious, confident, and thoughtful in how they see life around them. I focus on building a strong foundation, while also keeping learning light-hearted and fun. Every lesson is an opportunity to explore, discover, and wonder. My teaching approach in Biology is focused on building deep understanding through critical thinking and evidence-based reasoning. I make sure students feel supported and engaged throughout their learning journey. Whether it's preparing for exams or diving into advanced topics, I help them gain confidence and clarity.
Alongside biology, I also teach related subjects like environmental science, biotechnology, and genetics. I have a special interest in Food Chemistry and Green Chemistry, and I enjoy guiding students who wish to explore those areas further. I dedicate time to refine their understanding of life’s diversity and its interconnections. My goal is to help every learner develop a strong scientific mindset and enjoy the beauty of biology. With the right support, they will be able to discuss life’s grand narrative with clarity and confidence.
