About Lina
Having studied and worked in international and cross-cultural environments, I understand how important clear communication is for study, work, and personal growth. As a bilingual speaker of English and Mandarin, I understand the challenges learners face and can explain concepts clearly and effectively. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence and use English in real-life situations. I use a communicative teaching methodology that combines structured guidance with active speaking practice. Lessons typically include conversation practice, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation correction, and grammar explained in context. I also incorporate real-world topics to make lessons engaging and relevant.
A typical lesson lasts 50–60 minutes, with flexible pacing based on the student’s level and goals.
I speak English and Mandarin and personalise each lesson based on the student’s level, interests, and objectives. My classes are well suited to motivated learners.
