About Senna
I am a guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, combining structured lessons with active performance across jazz clubs, rock venues, and music festivals. I hold an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance, which provides a strong foundation in technique, theory, and musical expression. My real-world experience shapes every lesson, helping students develop improvisation skills, stage presence, and their own unique musical identity. I teach all levels, from beginners to advanced players, covering styles such as jazz, rock, blues, and acoustic. My lessons focus not only on technical proficiency but also on understanding how music comes alive on stage. I mentor aspiring performers and gigging musicians, offering guidance on set preparation, live performance strategies, and connecting with an audience. I also integrate modern tools like DAWs, amp simulators, and metronome apps to enhance practice and performance. Through guided exercises, students improve timing, improvisation, and soloing techniques. I provide support in mastering challenging pieces while encouraging exploration of new styles. Whether tackling complex jazz arrangements or energetic modern riffs, I guide students to perform with confidence and expression. I focus on building a strong foundation while nurturing creativity. By the end of lessons, students not only play but understand music deeply and enjoy every step of learning.
