About Krupali
As a private Science Tutor, I am passionate about helping students discover that they are capable of understanding science, no matter where they are starting from. I believe that every student can succeed when they are taught in a way that makes sense to them. My role is not simply to explain scientific concepts, but to identify the barriers that are preventing understanding and remove them, one step at a time.
The most rewarding part of teaching is seeing the moment when a student says, “Oh… now I understand!” Those breakthrough moments are what drive me. I enjoy diagnosing misconceptions, finding new ways to explain difficult concepts, and adapting my teaching to suit each student’s individual learning style. My aim is to build genuine understanding, confidence and independent thinking, rather than relying on memorisation alone.
With over ten years of teaching experience and a background in Science, I combine subject expertise with proven teaching strategies and evidence-based revision techniques. I teach students not only what to learn, but how to learn effectively, using active recall, spaced repetition, past paper analysis and exam technique to help them achieve their full potential.
I believe education is one of the most powerful tools we have to shape a person’s future. Whether a student is striving for a top grade or simply looking to build confidence in science, I am committed to helping them overcome challenges, develop a love of learning and achieve goals they may not have thought possible. Teaching is far more than a profession to me, it is a privilege to support students as they grow in knowledge, confidence and belief in themselves.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student, their current level of understanding and their academic goals. I begin by identifying strengths, knowledge gaps and misconceptions, allowing me to create a personalised approach that targets the areas which will have the greatest impact on progress.
Lessons focus on developing a deep understanding of scientific concepts rather than simply memorising facts. Students are encouraged to actively engage with content through questioning, retrieval practice, application of knowledge and problem-solving, helping them build confidence and become more independent learners.
Alongside subject knowledge, I teach students effective learning strategies that they can apply beyond Science. These include how to revise actively, organise their learning, identify gaps in their understanding, approach challenging topics and reflect on mistakes. The aim is to provide students with lifelong learning tools that they can use across all subjects throughout their education.
Exam preparation is embedded throughout my teaching. Using past papers, exam-style questions and mark schemes, students develop a clear understanding of what examiners are looking for and how to apply their knowledge effectively. We analyse mistakes, identify patterns in areas for improvement and use this information to guide future learning and revision.
Alongside content knowledge, students develop essential exam skills including question interpretation, command words, time management, extended-response techniques and strategies for approaching unfamiliar questions. My aim is for students to leave each lesson with greater understanding, increased confidence and practical strategies they can continue using independently.

Great teacher and really helps my daughter to solve complex problems
As we were so taken with Krupali’s tutoring we also engaged her to tutor my daughter for her GCSEs. Prior to the tutoring my daughter had no interest in science. Krupali helped her with Physics and Chemistry and at one point she was enjoying it so much that she considered taking Physics for A’Level. With Krupali’s help my daughter got significantly higher than her predicted grades in both Physics and Chemistry, enabling her to take up the subjects of her choice at her chosen 6th form.
