With 10 years of experience in teaching violin, I specialize in guiding students from school through to college level, helping them not only learn to play but also develop a deep passion for music. My teaching style is built on creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel motivated and confident to explore the violin at their own pace. I believe in a tailored approach, recognizing that each student is unique, and I adapt my lessons to meet their individual needs, learning styles, and goals. I use a combination of traditional techniques and innovative methods to make learning fun and effective. This includes interactive exercises, ear training, and integrating music theory to help students understand the structure of the pieces they play. I also emphasize the importance of emotional expression in music, helping students connect with the emotional depth of each piece they learn. Whether you're a beginner or advancing toward an intermediate level, my lessons are designed to build technique, foster musicality, and develop a strong sense of rhythm and harmony. In addition to violin instruction, I offer support in music theory, performance techniques, and sight-reading, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
