About Kyra
Hello! I’m a passionate piano tutor with over 14 years of experience teaching students from schools, colleges, and working professionals. My goal is to help each student discover their love for music while developing their skills.
I use a supportive and encouraging approach in my lessons. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching to meet their unique needs. My lessons include not just playing techniques but also music theory, which helps students understand the music they play.
In addition to piano, I can teach relevant subjects like music theory and composition. I also have a background in classical, jazz, and pop styles, allowing me to offer a diverse range of lessons. Let’s embark on this musical journey together!

In my piano lessons, I adopt a teaching methodology rooted in Positivity, Empathy, Critical Thinking, and Mentorship. My approach focuses on creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel safe to express themselves and explore their musical abilities.

**Critical Thinking:** I encourage students to think critically about music. This involves exploring the theory behind what they play, helping them understand why certain techniques work and how to apply them creatively.
**Mentorship:** Beyond teaching piano, I act as a mentor, guiding students through challenges and inspiring them to set and achieve their musical goals. I also offer support in related subjects, ensuring a holistic learning experience.
