About Jude
I’m an English tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Cultural Studies. My lessons are dynamic and modern, using news analysis, documentaries, and journalistic ethics as core tools. I believe learning English is more engaging when it connects to real-world events. Together, we explore current affairs, uncover different biases, and learn how to form well-informed opinions. My English teaching approach is designed for real-world communication, especially in online gaming and virtual environments. I focus on helping learners understand game instructions, use team-based vocabulary, and talk confidently during gameplay. Lessons are practical, fun, and built around everyday gaming situations. Students practice how to chat with teammates, react quickly in voice or text, and express strategies clearly.
We also explore gaming culture and how to talk about games casually or in structured conversations. I include vocabulary lists, sample dialogues, and guided role-plays. My sessions are encouraging and interactive, with space to make mistakes and improve naturally. I use visuals, game clips, and tailored examples to keep things engaging.
This method supports both Exam Takers and Immigrants/Newcomers, helping them build language skills for both social and academic use. I always adapt lessons to individual goals and learning speeds.
