About Tessa
I am a piano teacher with over nine years of experience and an Associate of Music in Piano Skills. My teaching journey has been shaped by working with students who have real-world performance goals. I have prepared many players for church worship leading, where they accompany congregations with confidence. I have also helped students accompany community theater productions and perform in professional wedding bands. My approach is personalized to fit your specific needs and musical tastes. I believe that motivation comes from playing music that you truly love. That is why we focus on songs and styles that excite you from the very first lesson. I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps. You will learn to read chord charts, play by ear, and develop your own arrangements. I also teach you how to handle different performance situations with ease. Whether you are playing for a small gathering or a large event, I will prepare you to shine. We will work on pieces that matter to you, whether they are personal reflections or jazz inspired works. You will leave each session with new ideas and the confidence to develop them further. My goal is to help you craft a musical legacy that is truly your own.
