About Xian
Hello, I'm Yumi! I come from Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, a small city in the south of China. My native language is Chinese and Hokkien. I have rich experience in teaching Chinese to both children and adults.
I like the idea that language can bring people new thinking, and I hope to spread traditional Chinese culture through teaching Chinese. I also used to be a children's English teacher, and I am constantly improving my English, so I understand the difficulties of language learning, and the constant repetition of memory may make people feel tired. I will customize your learning plan through communication with you. I hope we can also teachers and friends, continue to learn, and progress together!
My hobbies are swimming, table tennis, and skateboarding, and occasionally I go to yoga class. But my biggest hobby is to curl up on the couch and watch TV to recharge my batteries. How about you?

I have 2 years of teaching experience, Mandarin is my mother tongue, and I hold a Chinese high school teacher qualification certificate. Perfect! I am sure you will agree that those of us who are asked to write many recommendations, can sometimes find the task quite tedious and even boring. However, when one is asked to write about a truly life-changing individual, the task becomes almost pleasurable.
