About Daniel
Guitar and music are an essential and non-negotiable part of my life. I started my guitar journey 18 years ago and have never looked back since. I have been teaching electric and electroacoustic guitar for nearly 3 years. I teach because I love to share the beautiful process of making the guitar an extension of yourself.
In my journey, I have been the lead guitarist of several music groups and bands, as well as music competitions and countless live gigs.
My lead guitar playing style is influenced by Blues, R&B, Latin music and Country. I am grateful to have learned from incredibly talented musicians during my career - this has led me to pick up the necessary tools and experience to start my own career as a guitar instructor.

In my Guitar classes, you will be immersed in a musical fun-filled environment. Together, we will focus on refining your fundamental guitar skills and techniques. This will lead you to develop your own playing style and increase your connection to your instrument!
In our first lesson, we will explore your musical taste along with your knowledge, skills and experience with guitar and music. We will set goals and accommodate expectations for your guitar-playing future. From there, we will construct a road map that will guide us to you becoming a rockstar guitarist.
Our next lessons will have a FUN and dynamic mix of theory and practice that will cover the following:
1) Basics and fundamentals: The best way to improve your abilities as a guitarist is to nail down the basics - hand positioning and mechanics, hand independence, musical understanding and interpretation.
2) Musicality: Through a basic understanding of musical tools (chord progressions, scales, voicings), you will develop your unique playing style! Guitar playing becomes increasingly more interesting and enjoyable when we do so.
3) Homework: What? Guitar homework? Yes! I will leave you several exercises and activities you can do in between lessons that will reinforce what we learn in class.
My ultimate goal as your guitar teacher is to help you develop the ability to express yourself with the world through your guitar. Your guitar will become an extension of your body and you will be able to transfer your thoughts and emotions into your instrument.
