About Miguel
Excel for finance is the backbone of my instruction, supplemented by deep dives into financial markets and risk and return. Plainly stated, I focus on the hard skills like bonds and equities or cost of capital because that is what the industry demands.
Having taught 408 students, I have seen how quickly a career trajectory shifts once someone masters capital budgeting and ratio analysis. My time in the industry keeps my methods sharp, and I find that the CFA foundations serve as a perfect baseline for anyone aiming for a seat at the desk. I enjoy working with motivated students who want to see how these theories hold up in a real analyst seat.
