About Andre
I am former Cinematographer turned WGA screenwriter who spent the majority of my career on sets shooting everything from music videos to commercials to low budget feature films. I have Directed many of the music videos that I shot.
Later in my career, I became a comic book and graphic novel writer who has published over 10 comics and written on a dozen more. Most recently, I reinvented myself again as a screenwriter having sold a feature film script to Sony.
I am constantly creating and learning and am passionate about passing my knowledge to the next generation.

To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process, from scripting to pre-production to production, and to teach them how to convert a film or TV script into a graphic novel script.
I use the Flanagan(Acclaimed Horror director Mike Flanagan)/Howard Four Quadrant Scripting technique.
A typical lesson plan would be to learn the difference between Plot and Story or the Boy meets Girl Analogy. Time will be spent on learning the Production Triangle.

The course is suitable for beginners who want to learn the filmmaking process from scratch, as well as intermediate-level learners who want to enhance their skills and understanding of the craft. No prior filmmaking experience is necessary, but a basic understanding of storytelling principles would be beneficial.
