About Jonathan
I have a BA in Drama from UEA, the #1 course in the country at the time, and an MA in Classical Acting from Central. I teach Acting classes for Drama School students at BADA and Florida State University.
I have more than 10 years industry experience and have worked as an actor on the West End, on International and National tours, and with Apple TV and Sky.
One of the classes I teach at Drama Schools is solely focused on classical monologues. I also teach a Contemporary Scene Study Class, and love the different challenges that working with modern text presents.
Ex students of mine have gone onto top level Drama School training and into professional work.

I can help you select, analyse, and master a brilliant speech, that suits you down to the ground, allowing you to do your best work.
I have a lot of experience working with Shakespeare. I pride myself on my ability to ignite in my students the same love for it that I have. I also work with students on modern texts, and can help you build detail, specificity, and colour into your performance.
I'd be best suited for someone aiming to get into a top Drama School, or early career actors looking to nail down a great monologue. Expect lessons to be about 45 mins and focused on analysis and play.
