About Barbara
I am a well-qualified French teacher with 10 years experience teaching KS3 and KS4 students of all abilities. I am very aware of the challenges brought by the current French GCSE and I have recently adapted my methodology as a result.

I understand that French can be regarded as quite a challenging subject; however I also believe that anyone is able to learn a language. Over the years, I have noticed that students often show a lack of confidence, especially when completing listening and speaking tasks (students often complain that the people talk "too fast"!).
As a result I dedicate a large part of my lessons to developing listening and speaking skills.
I would welcome the opportunity to help students prepare for their GCSE exam or boost the confidence of KS3 students. I am also available to practise conversations with more-advanced learners.
