About Ligaya
Hi there, I’m Ligaya- the Filipino word for happiness, something I try my very best to live up to. Having found great interest in the English language ever since school, this felt like a natural path for me. As well as English, I teach dance and yoga. I’ve been lucky enough to have travelled to many places like Bali, Italy, Spain, Turkey and more, I’ve even lived in Marrakesh! I look forward to welcoming you into one of my classes soon.

As well as being a native English speaker, I hold both a TEFL qualification and an English A level. I'm happy to teach anyone 16+, both beginners and more advanced learners. I like to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere so we feel more like friends having a catch up than student and teacher. Lesson length can be 30-60mins. I'm able to assist in written documents, presentations or speaking practice.
