About Amye
Hi! I'm Amye, a 27 year old tutor from North West London.
I have 5+ years of experience tutoring primary school children, children gearing up to take the 11+ exam, and teens in all different years up to GCSE.
I make Maths and Science interesting and relevant for children, so their knowledge is based on true understanding and joy, rather than memorisation which will fade away.
I draw on their interests and link this to their curriculum to bring them confidence and help them achieve their maximum.
I tutor in the following subjects - Maths, English (Lang + Lit) Sciences, Geography + History, French.
I have a wide range of knowledge and experience, so I am able to be flexible to you and your needs.

With 5+ years tutoring experience, a friendly, hands-on approach to learning, and the genuine passion and enjoyment about the subjects I teach, I am able to connect the subjects to their everyday interests and make sure concepts and knowledge are built from understanding, not just memorising.
A student of one of the best grammar schools in the area, I gained 11 A-A* GCSEs. I then became a Russell Group University graduate in Economics and French. Since then, I have tutored primary school children all the way up to the days before their GCSEs, and understand what works for kids of all different levels and needs. I can also speak fluent French and Spanish, so am able to tutor in these subjects as well.
