About Dana
Experience:
I have taught Microeconomics, Mathematics, and Macroeconomics seminars at the university for 3 years, where I have influenced a grade improvement (40-50% to 70%) for 100 students. Here is what my former students have said:
‘Made Microeconomics simpler and more enjoyable’
‘Provided in-depth solutions to the problem sets at Maths seminars’
‘Simplified the lecture material and answered each question with a clear explanation’
I also hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
Education:
I completed my MSc in Economics at the University of Warwick. Prior to that, I graduated with a first-class BSc (Hons) in Economics from Oxford Brookes University. Whilst completing my BSc (Hons), I was awarded Frank Shergold’s prize for the highest mark in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics in my faculty.

I provide online lessons for GCSE, A-level (all exam boards), and undergraduate students. I tutor Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Mathematics.
My main goals when tutoring are increasing students’ confidence and ensuring that after my sessions, they can answer questions independently (filling the gaps in the knowledge). As a result, they will be able to achieve a higher grade.
My sessions involve two stages:
1) Getting to know the student, their strengths, and their weaknesses in the subject. Making them feel comfortable to ask me questions.
2) Working on the weaknesses, utilising past exam papers. Here I encourage students to participate as much as possible and try to solve the questions independently. Of course, asking for my help when needed.

Dana tutored me last minute for my A-level exam in Economics. She made a plan, was on point, and was very helpful. She answered all the questions I had in depth. I went to the exam with more confidence after sessions with her. I do recommend her as a tutor!
Dana tutored me in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics during my first year of university for 3 months. She was very helpful, understanding, and patient. She managed to break down the topic, so it was easier to understand. She always came prepared for the lessons. With her help, I achieved an A in both exams. I definitely recommend her as a tutor!
I worked with Dana when she tutored me to prepare for my exams in Maths and Microeconomics in my first year of university. I found the exams hard, so I reached out to her. She always came to the sessions prepared and on time, explained things clearly, and asked me questions to make sure I understand the topic. Thanks to her tutoring, I managed to increase my grade by 20% in these two subjects. Also, I felt much more confident to attempt questions on my own. Overall, she is one of the best tutors I have worked with so far! I definitely recommend her.
Dana taught Microeconomics and Macroeconomics seminars for me. She was very energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable. She taught the seminars with passion and made the material simpler. She covered all the questions we had in the class and asked us a lot of questions on the topic in return which I found really helpful. Plus, she could sense when we didn’t really get the topic. I would definitely recommend her as a tutor!
