About George
I'm a second-year Economics student at the University of Warwick, having achieved A*A*A at A-Level and an incoming summer 2027 intern with BNP Paribas in Global Markets.
Alongside my studies, I'm Club Captain of the Warwick University Men's Cricket Club and play competitively for Wolverhampton CC and Staffordshire CCC, which has taught me discipline, leadership and how to communicate clearly under pressure, skills I bring into every tutoring session.
I take tutoring seriously and am committed to helping students build genuine understanding and confidence in their subjects.
No lectures. Just honest conversation and learning with results that speak for themselves.

I believe the best learning happens when you're relaxed enough to actually ask the questions you're embarrassed to ask elsewhere. My approach is low-pressure but high-discipline. No judgement, no need to impress me, just an environment where you can think out loud, get things wrong and actually understand why before moving on. The teachers who got the best out of me were the ones I felt completely comfortable around and that's exactly the dynamic I try to build with every student.
That said, chill doesn't mean unstructured. Sessions focus on learning content properly, then applying it efficiently, so it sticks under exam pressure rather than just being memorised. I also teach practical ways to use AI as a study tool, for testing understanding, generating practice questions and speeding up revision without it doing the thinking for you, alongside proven techniques for optimising retention.
I have previous teaching experience from school and tutor all ages and abilities, from GCSE through to A-Level. Lesson length is flexible and built around what works for you.
My goal is simple: genuine understanding, confidence to ask anything and real progress every session.

Over the past decade of knowing George, I’ve seen him grow as a leader and someone who is more than willing to share knowledge with those around him. Since the age of 15, he has coached cricket alongside myself for kids aged 7-18, meaning I have seen firsthand his ability to personally cater learning to different skill levels and individual needs. Academically, I also saw George personally develop his own Maths ability to a high level, and achieve top grades, gaining a spot at a prestigious university, where he has since continued his development into a highly knowledgable academic.
