About Aman_y

Hello!!! I am Aman, your own friend, cousin, and well-wisher. I am eagerly waiting for all of you to share my own 8-year experience of teaching. I am a graduate student of chemical engineering. I want to teach all of you because I am relishing the joy of real-world application of the knowledge, and I want to share all those things with all of you and will be telling what is the right attitude to get the knowledge and what should be the result of the knowledge.

My teaching methodology is student oriented, without interacting with them it becomes difficult for to connect with the student that is why i prefer student oriented teaching methodology.
Typical lesson length is 30 min - 1hrs, having graduate student in Chemical Engineering 8 yrs of experience in tutoring, it may vary by the eagerness of the student.
my lessons are fit for all age group students and all level of students.

  • When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

So, regarding this question what i can say? From initial days i am teaching to the students......even when i was in any standards below that standards students i used to teach to them so the teaching inclination was always with me and even while pursuing my B.T.ech degree is used to do home tutoring to the students, i never leave the teaching to the students in my career so for this question........i have same answer that i have interest from initial days no separate endeavour was needed to cultivate it.
  • Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I teach maths and chemistry mainly but i can also teach the physics part also, and regarding the discussion of the topics with the students, i discuss with them each pat of the subject but in a practical ground so that they can connect and understand the subject matter nicely.
  • Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

Yes, i have HDG A.C. Bhakti vedanta swami prabhupada as my role model, he teaches the spiritual subject matter in a very easy manner.
  • What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

The quality required to be a good tutor what i feel has multiple reasons - to make students engaging in the subject matter, presenting the subject matter with the gap that is felt by the students. And making them felt connected and homely.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

During my undergraduate chemical engineering studies, we were working on a lab project involving distillation - one of the most fundamental separation techniques in chemical engineering. Our group had to determine the number of theoretical stages in a distillation column using the McCabe-Thiele method. It seemed straightforward: plot the equilibrium curve, draw the operating lines, and step off the stages. One of my teammates casually said, "Let's assume the mixture behaves ideally - it'll simplify the math." We all agreed and went ahead, eager to finish early. We ran the experiment, collected data, and got results that were… off. Way off.We spent hours checking our math, our graphs, even recalibrated the equipment. Finally, our professor walked by and asked, "Did you consider non-ideal behavior?"That moment was a turning point. We had oversimplified the system and assumed ideal behavior for a mixture of acetone and water - which forms an azeotrope and definitely doesn't behave ideally. The professor explained, "In real life, shortcuts like this can cost millions. Design based on the wrong assumptions, and the entire plant could fail."that stuck with me. From then on, I learned to respect complexity, double-check assumptions, and understand when simplifications are valid - and when they're no,Lesson: In chemical engineering, small assumptions can lead to major errors. Always question your assumptions - the real world rarely behaves ideally.
  • What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing in your subject?

I am facing the difficulty in my subject is that while taking lessons, I go over the timing because of the detailed explanation.
  • Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

Teaching and studying is my passion, I want that students can understand the topics nicely which would be my success.Teaching is something completely different by teaching you are going to direct the life of a person so its not a easy job and you are going to decide the will power and determination of a person.
  • What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions)?

The development of good habits culture and a good attitude towards life, so many people and students are committing the suicide even they are so much learned but there is no fellow to hear the words of the others.......people are hankering that someone should hear their problem and direct them so i am here for them to direct them on a proper path.
