Usual Structure of a Class
A typical individualized class with me is structured to ensure a balanced and comprehensive practice, covering all aspects of yoga. The usual structure includes:
Introduction and Centering (5-10 minutes): Beginning with a brief meditation or pranayama exercise to center the mind and prepare the body for practice.
Warm-Up (10 minutes): Gentle stretches and movements to warm up the muscles and joints.
Main Practice (30-40 minutes): A sequence of asanas specifically tailored to the student's level and focus, with detailed instructions and modifications provided.
Cool Down (10 minutes): Gentle stretches and restorative poses to relax the muscles.
Final Relaxation and Meditation (10-15 minutes): Guided relaxation or meditation to integrate the practice and promote deep rest.
