Having trained to be a teacher in an outstanding school, my tutoring style is pedagogically informed, personalised and led with warmth. I take time to understand how each student thinks, where their confidence dips, and what actually makes a topic click for them- then I build sessions around that rather than a one-size-fits-all script. Students leave feeling clearer, calmer and more in control of their material. Every lesson will have an individualised worksheet to work through, made bespoke for the needs of each student. With the help with clear explanations and consistent checks for understanding using mini whiteboards, students will close gaps, build exam confidence and push towards those top-band answers.
I am a fully qualified secondary teacher, with particular specialism in AQA A level Philosophy, AQA RS GCSE and AQA Politics Paper 3 (Political Ideas). Alongside my classroom teaching, I have years of tutoring experience across a wide range of ages and abilities, including as an English tutor supporting reading, writing and exam technique.
I offer 1-2 hour tutoring sessions in-person or online in RS and English for KS3 and KS4, and Philosophy and Politics for KS5. I am flexible regarding timings. Please don’t hesitate to contact me.
