About Will
I’m a Product Design Engineer with nearly 10 years of industry experience. You'll find my work on the shelves of Currys, B&Q, Argos, Amazon and beyond.
Over the past five years, I’ve tutored GCSE, A-Level and university students, as well as a few aspiring entrepreneurs just starting their own product ventures. No matter where you are on your design journey, I can help you build the skills and confidence to bring your ideas to life!
I’m highly skilled in SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360 and every major 3D printing technology. As well as a huge variety of hands on prototyping methods. I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Product Design from University of Sussex, and my final year project went on to win multiple awards.
As a tutor, I’m patient, friendly and genuinely passionate about helping students grow in confidence and ability. Working in both big and small teams is part of daily life for me and so I'm confident in breaking down complex concepts into clear, practical steps, making sure each session is engaging, supportive and tailored to your goals.

These sessions are designed to be highly flexible, covering the full spectrum of product design — from early ideas to fully developed, production-ready parts. With this in mind, I begin every tutoring relationship with a free 30 minute call to discuss your needs to allow us to build a plan together.
Whether you want to sharpen your research and ideation skills, boost your creativity, or learn sketching techniques to bring your ideas to life, I’ll help you build a strong foundation. If CAD is where you’re focusing, I can guide you through everything from beginner basics to advanced multi-part assemblies in SolidWorks, Creo and Fusion 360.
I also offer in-depth support on design for manufacture, covering all types of plastic moulding (with a specialism in injection moulding) as well as CNC machining in both metal and wood. And if prototyping is your priority, we’ll work on optimising designs for 3D printing and getting the most out of FDM, SLA, SLS and MJF printers — from setup to fine-tuning.
Every lesson is tailored to your goals, so whether you’re starting out, levelling up, or tackling a specific design challenge, we’ll shape the session around what matters most to you.

Will has been amazing at helping me with my product design uni work. He guided me through putting together a solid design brief and was really helpful in planning out how to make my design in solidworks, then helping me work through the more difficult surfacing problems.
