About Antara
I am student who has completed their A-Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths.
I achieved a Grade 9 in all science subjects at GCSE and am soon to be a student at Imperial College London.
I have extensive work experience in the Physics sector. Having spent time at CERN, Cambridge University, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory and Jaguar Land Rover. This has enriched my experience of communicating Physics concepts to others.
Although I have not formally tutored a student, my commitment to excellence in the subject, and my familiarity with the new style of GCSEs makes me an invaluable mentor and tutor for students looking to gain that edge.

My teaching methodology is simple and effective.
I will send the student some reading material before the lesson so they can familiarise themselves a little before the lesson.
At the beginning of the lesson I will provide them with a starter activity to stimulate discussion and help them make links with previous knowledge.
Then, I will assist them with a problem set- working through the questions and highlighting key knowledge and techniques. Physics is a very practical subject- so I think it is imperative students practice material rather than memorise a textbook.
Then I will make a short summary of key concepts and ideas- linking it to the specification provided by the exam board.
Following the lesson I will send through a problem set- tailored to areas the student finds challenging. I will personally mark this and discuss this with the student at a later lesson.
I am looking for students who are ready to learn and work hard.
I am an enthusiastic person with a passion for Physics. I approach teaching with positivity and have a genuine desire to help my students achieve their goals.
