About Shayla
My name is Shayla and I've been working with natural hair for as long as I can remember. I currently work as a full-time, home-based stylist until I venture off to find my next home state. I have attended The Paul Mitchell and completed 1,348 necessary cosmetology hours. Although I have not obtained my license yet due to transportation issues, that didn't stop me from working in my first shop last year starting in March. Working in a shop taught me how necessary it is to care for and pour into your business and the people that support you, which led me to construct my own personal suite in my home one year later. I now service over 30 clients and my business is still growing. I hope my story can be an inspiration to someone to just keep going despite the trials of life and just keep pushing no matter what life throws at you. If you want something, go for it and never let up:)
