About Erika
I am an expert at online and distance education.
During my undergraduate studies, I gave private English classes for students from Grate 2 to Grate 12. My experience provided me the opportunity to spend hundreds of hours with children, teaching English.
I also volunteered for peer-tutoring programs while in middle- and high-school, helping students with a variety of course material (including: English and Math).
Since beginning university, I have also started teaching adults.
Lastly, my experience while studying towards my Bachelor of Education has helped me to not only better understand issues in education, psychological learning theories and lesson planning, but has also provided me excellent practical experience in the classroom. Being heavily involved in the professional education and teaching community has been a valuable asset to my tutoring endeavours.
Upon completing my Bachelor of Education, I worked in language school and taught English as a Second language. In this role, I created, curated and facilitated engaging, relevant and valuable professional learning experiences for school students in Russia.
More recently, I became an international English teacher with TESOL certificate.
I am currently teaching English online in Canada, Saskatoon.

I take into consideration his/her distinct learning needs, learning styles, interests, aspirations, and cultural backgrounds. As a tutor, I work with students to ensure success by catering to their needs, addressing their weaknesses and working with them to solve their problems.
