About Monika
I am a dedicated and creative educator with over 20 years of teaching experience across multiple phases of schooling, including Senior Phase and FET. Throughout my career, I have taught Visual Arts, Creative Arts, Social Sciences and English, and have been actively involved in curriculum development, assessment design, and exam moderation.
I am currently completing a BEd (Senior Phase and FET) in History and Geography, further strengthening my academic and professional foundation. My extensive classroom experience means I understand both the academic and practical demands placed on learners.
Learners and parents can expect professionalism, clear communication, and structured support. I believe in high standards combined with patience and encouragement. My aim is not only to improve marks, but to build confidence, independence, and genuine understanding.

I am an experienced Visual Arts teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience across Grade 8 - 12. I specialise in portfolio development, exam preparation, and helping learners understand how to structure their practical and theory work to achieve higher marks.
I focus on building both technical skills (drawing, composition, and tonal development in various media and techniques) and critical thinking skills required for Visual Arts theory and exam responses.
As an experienced exam setter and moderator, I teach learners how to interpret questions correctly and answer in a way that earns marks. This is particularly valuable for learners preparing for formal assessments or final examinations.
Lessons are available for learners who need extra support as well as high achievers aiming for distinctions or strong portfolio submissions. I teach in English.
My goal is to build confidence, independence, and measurable academic progress.
