About Catriona
I am a visual arts major studying drawing, painting, sculpture, and film. I have 3+ years of experience teaching children ages 0-18. I have worked as a TA in a kindergarten classroom and as a supervisor of a daycare. As well, I spent 6 months teaching a painting class for the elderly and led a watercolor class at an arts event. My experience comes from spending 2 years studying painting at my local art studio, graduating from a visual arts course at OELC, and currently, studying visual arts at Mayfield.

My teaching method is similar to a focused exploration class structure. I base my classes on both the basics of visual arts as well as my personal experiences. I approach a lesson with both an organized plan as well as with an open mind and flexibility. I am willing to adapt the lesson based on a student's individual needs.

I have great pleasure in recommending my grand daughter Catriona to join the Superprof group. She is conscientious and hard working. Art has long been an important part of her life. She is patient and kind and gifted at enthusing and enabling other people. She has had some experience with working with small groups from preschoolers at one end of the scale and a group of elderly with early dementia at the other.
