About SC Yong
Siew Chin has patience and passion to interact with children, being a teacher for Christian Sunday school for 11 years and a volunteer English teacher for refugee children. She was previously a senior manager, but she chooses to teach children because it is rewarding to see a child strengthened and feel valued even in their brokenness.

The challenge parents often face are they spend too little time with their kids due to work obligations. Consequently, children spend much time attending various classes, tuitions, video games and internet. These possibly leaves them stress-out and exposing them to negative influences, with no one to talk to about their emotions.
In my “lesson”, I will entertain the child for an hour. During this interaction, I will tell stories, play games, counsel the child if he/she is troubled. This session offers a safe space and an empathetic ear while providing teaching via faith-based bible stories to instill positive values and solid morals in the child, while engaging their curiosity and imagination.
I can gladly help kids with their homework and also tutor them, especially for science and English.
The activities will include games, bible stories, do homework together, heart to heart talk. It all depends on the age of the child and their interests.
Pre-consultation session is required to understand the child.
Age range: 5 years old to 11 years old.
Parents benefit from this hour of freedom and use the time to do personal chores, take a shower, or simply relax on the sofa.
This lesson approach may seem unconventional, but you'll find the results worth the investment. Your kid will have a healthier mind.
