About Veronica
Starting with a diagnostic assessment allows me to map your unique path before we build a practice plan. You will find this initial session creates a clear, measurable trajectory for your goals. Drawing on my BMus background, I translate complex movements into reachable, structured steps for your development. We address the nuances of posture so that your body supports the sound you aim to create.
Throughout our time, I maintain an exacting focus on how you engage with the instrument. Years of performing have taught me that small, consistent adjustments yield the most significant results. My degree informs the way I break down intricate bowing patterns into digestible components.

Holding a BMus from the UBC School of Music, I navigate both strings and voice with rigorous clarity. Having spent 13 years performing classical and folk music across Canada, I apply that rigor to my current 5 years of teaching.
Performance-focused students, kids, and those returning to the instrument find my guidance attentive and poetic. I emphasize posture and hold alongside the mechanics of left hand agility. Vibrato and tone production form the base of my exacting technical approach. Developing sight reading and scales and arpeggios is essential for long-term growth.
