About Erika
I started playing violin when I was 12 years old in my school orchestra. I knew I wanted to be a violin teacher so I chose to attend the University of New Mexico which had an amazing String Pedagogy program run by Susan Kempter. I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in String Pedagogy. While I was there I also received my training in Suzuki Methods.

I am a proud Suzuki teacher and certified to teach books 1-10. All levels and ages from itty bitties to adults. I create personalized lesson plans for each student to help them reach their goals. I truly believe that everyone can learn to play violin.
