About Jonathan
Hi i'm Jonathan. I currently teach within a music centre as well as privately, working with students across a range of levels in a structured and professional setting.
Having completed all Trinity College London violin examinations, I provide clear, progressive instruction for beginners through to exam-focused students.
I have performed with Orchestras, at weddings, and at various live events.
I am currently working on my Trinity College Violin Diploma

My violin lessons are tailored to each individual student. All essential violin technique and music theory are taught to all my student, but my teaching approach will vary depending between students. Some students can keep up with a rigorous practice schedule where I push them to reach their full potential, and other students need a more steady and gentle approach.
I am very passionate about teaching and I love my violin. It is very fulfilling to teach and train my students to become competent and skilled violinists.
Trinity College London & ABRSM Violin examinations are available.
I charge:
$30 for 30min
$40 for 45min
$50 for 1hr

Our son has been taking violin lessons from Jonathan for over a year and a half now and we have been very happy with his progress. His playing has sounded much more clear and less scratchy. Jonathan was very helpful. He was good at breaking down what I had to work on when he proof read my essay as well as helping me form a plan so that I could fix-up my essay. Overall. Jonathan is a very good and kind tutor which creates a comfortable and professional atmosphere.
