About Michael
I am a violin tutor with 6 years of experience and a PhD in Violin Performance. I enjoy helping students grow into confident musicians through encouraging lessons and consistent support.
My teaching philosophy emphasizes clear instruction, careful technique, and creative learning. I believe every student can succeed with patience, practice, and positive guidance.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing chamber music, exploring violin literature, and creating educational practice materials. These experiences help me bring practical performance knowledge into every lesson.

My violin lessons help students build strong foundations through organized practice and supportive instruction. We study posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, intonation, scales, tone production, string coordination, and expressive phrasing using carefully selected exercises and enjoyable repertoire. Every lesson encourages steady improvement and confident learning.
As students continue advancing, we practice shifting, vibrato, sight reading, ensemble playing, recital preparation, ear training, musical interpretation, and effective practice habits. I provide personalized guidance that helps learners improve technique while expressing music with confidence.
My goal is to help students enjoy learning the violin while developing reliable skills and artistic confidence. Every lesson strengthens technical ability, musical understanding, and long-term appreciation for violin performance.
