About Vera
My passion for violin began with a deep admiration for classical music and expressive performance. I completed a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and have 5 years of teaching experience working with students of different ages and skill levels. Over time, I have developed a structured yet flexible teaching approach that supports both technical growth and musical expression.
My teaching philosophy is centered on clarity, patience, and step-by-step development. I adapt my teaching methods to each student’s pace and learning needs. I focus on building strong fundamentals first, then gradually introducing more advanced techniques. This ensures long-term confidence and independent musical growth.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing violin repertoire and exploring classical works from different eras. These experiences help me bring freshness and depth into my lessons. One of the most fulfilling parts of my work is watching students grow from hesitant beginners into confident performers who can express emotion, precision, and musical understanding through their playing.

My violin lessons focus on building strong technical foundations while also developing musical expression and confidence. I teach posture alignment, bow control, finger placement, intonation training, shifting techniques, vibrato basics, rhythm accuracy, and expressive phrasing. Each concept is explained step by step so students can understand clearly and apply it effectively. The learning process is structured, calm, and supportive to ensure steady progress.
Students are guided according to their level and goals. Beginners focus on open strings, posture correction, simple finger patterns, and basic melodies. Intermediate learners develop shifting control, tone production, vibrato consistency, and smoother bowing techniques. Advanced students work on interpretation, advanced bow styles, performance preparation, and repertoire refinement. Students preparing for exams or performances receive structured practice routines with clear goals. Continuous feedback ensures consistent improvement.
Learning violin requires patience, focus, and consistent practice. My lessons create a supportive environment where students can grow without pressure or fear of mistakes. Over time, learners develop stronger listening skills, better control, and more expressive playing. My goal is to help students become confident musicians who can enjoy both the discipline and emotional depth of violin performance.
