About Tara
My interest in violin began through orchestral music and fascination with expressive live performances during my early musical experiences. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music followed by a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance and Ensemble Studies. During the past 5 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds while helping them strengthen confidence and technical skill through supportive music education.
I believe music learning should feel inspiring, structured, and emotionally rewarding for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on technical clarity, patient instruction, and expressive interpretation that help students improve naturally while developing strong musical foundations. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and participate actively because confidence develops through encouragement and consistent musical practice during lessons.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music collaboration, orchestral repertoire study, and exploring historical violin compositions through personal creative projects. Staying actively connected to music helps me bring fresh inspiration and artistic perspective into lessons regularly. Teaching violin is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students discover confidence and individuality through music. My goal is always to support learners in becoming expressive, disciplined, and passionate musicians.

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop technical precision while building emotional connection and confidence through music. I teach posture, bow control, rhythm training, intonation, sight reading, and expressive phrasing in a calm environment where learners can improve steadily at their own pace. Students learn how healthy practice habits support expressive performance and long-term musical growth naturally through guided exercises and creative exploration. Every lesson encourages patience, focus, and artistic development.
Lessons are carefully adapted according to each learner’s level and musical goals. Beginners focus on open string exercises, rhythm coordination, hand positioning, and simple melodies, while advanced learners work on vibrato, advanced bowing techniques, interpretation, and recital preparation. I include ear training, slow practice exercises, and guided repetition regularly because active participation strengthens coordination and confidence effectively. Students receive supportive guidance that helps them improve naturally without unnecessary pressure or discouragement during lessons.
I aim to create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves musically without fear of mistakes or judgment. Many learners initially struggle with technical uncertainty or performance anxiety, so I focus on gradual improvement through encouragement and realistic goals. Over time, students improve technical control, musical expression, and stage confidence naturally. Violin becomes much more meaningful when learners discover how deeply music can communicate emotion, creativity, and individuality.
