About Lauren
Lauren Oeser is a professional violist and violinist who performs and teaches in the greater Boston area, as well as in the Denver metro area. Since moving to the East Coast, she has performed with the Boston Conservatory Orchestra in venues such as Boston’s Symphony Hall and New York’s Carnegie Hall. She frequently studies and performs chamber music and has attended the Meadowmount School of Music program, Rocky Ridge Music string quartet program, and the Ascent International Chamber Music program. Lauren teaches violin/viola and music theory/aural skills at the Chinese Culture Connection program in Malden, MA, as well as via online lessons with the Oz Academy of Music. She has studied under Professors Lynn Chang and Rictor Noren at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she is currently pursuing a Master's of Music.

I teach both violin and viola, from beginner to college-level/pre-professional levels. My teaching career started back in 2017, and I currently have an in-person studio in Malden, MA, as well as an online studio with the Oz Academy of Music. My goal is to help students reach their musical goals, and to help them grow not only as violinists, but as musicians and successful individuals. Lessons are tailored to each individual student’s needs and are held weekly.
