I started Italian classes with Paolo from scratch as a mature student in my 50s. I and 3 others in the class gained A* grades at GCSE. Circumstances meant that I had to take A level elsewhere, but since then I have continued with Paolo on an individual basis. He expertly adjusts the pace of his teaching to the needs of the student(s) and explains grammar and nuances of expression and vocabulary with exceptional clarity. His conversation is always interesting and varied in its own right, as well as helping the student to develop their skills. I recommend him as a first class tutor at any level.
