About Kersie
I am a mature lawyer with long experience in the civil, criminal, family, employment, immigration and mental health fields. I have taught law at AUT, Auckland. I have taught law at Bombay University in India. I want to teach law students online.

I am a mature lawyer in Auckland, New Zealand, with more than five decades of legal experience. I love to teach law part-time. I have a different way of teaching, and students love that. I make teaching interesting, and not boring. I involve my students in discussions. I tell my law students about my own court experiences. I explain to my law students real cases, and they are fascinated. I have taught law subjects face-to-face to legal executives at Auckland University of Technology, Auckland. I have taught law online to students from Auckland University and Victoria University of Wellington. I have taught law at university level in India. I encourage my law students to write assignments in correct English, with short paragraphs and sentences. This gets them good responses from examiners. I have written and published books on different themes. I am happy to give the first lesson free so that students can get a feel of my style of teaching.

Perfect! Kersie is a very kind, patient and thorough tutor. His experience as a criminal lawyer shows through his expert answers and easy-to-understand explanations. I highly recommend Kersie to anyone studying law in New Zealand. I was able to develop a better understanding through his teachings by conversing. My only regret is that I did not start with him earlier! I was able to go through past exams and workshop questions and significantly improved my understanding of criminal law.
