About Richard
I am a science graduate. I have a Bachlor of Science with Honours and am in the process of finalising my PhD. I have previously written and passed the IELTS test, attaining a minimum of 8.5 across all bands, and a score of 9 for speaking. I have actively tutored students at the tertiary level both at University of Western Australia and Curtin University of Technology.

I prefer to teach through a casual conversation style which relaxes the students. This allows our interaction to feels less like formal lectures and more of a peer-to-peer interaction. Throughout the lesson I like to run drills to make sure that the concepts are landing. I do my best to ensure that no student leaves without having gained something from the lesson that will grow their use of language.
