About Isaac
2022-2023 is my fourth academic year of tutoring full time. I have students that have come back every year because they love working with me so much. I meet students where they are at without judgment, and there is no such thing as a stupid question in my book. I work well with students that are self-motivated to achieve regardless of current skill level, and have helped many students that don't respond well to traditional learning methods to achieve deep comprehension.

I use a Demonstrate-Guide-Supervise approach to show students how to do a problem then help them to do it on their own. I use a question-based approach to help students look for clues in the question that help them create a successful approach. I help high school, college and graduate level students achieve deep comprehension of their math coursework and become more confident scholars. I am highly reliable with a very low cancel or no-show rate, and can often accommodate a last-minute request. Because I have now been doing this for many years, I have developed methods and approaches that work for almost all students and usually do not need time to prepare for a session. Most students bring the homework or practice exam that they wish to work on, but I can also make up questions on the fly. I also have a large library of practice questions to draw upon.
