About Lisa
Hi! I'm Lisa. I enjoy helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the material, rather than simply memorising content for exams.
I believe that understanding the fundamentals is the key to long-term success, so I focus on explaining concepts clearly and encouraging students to ask questions. My goal is not only to help students achieve their target grades but also to develop the problem-solving skills and knowledge that will benefit them in further study and university.
Outside of academics, I enjoy playing the guitar and listening to music, particularly Chinese artists such as Jay Chou. I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes.

I offer structured and patient lessons tailored to each student's needs, focusing on building a strong understanding of key concepts rather than memorisation. I am well equipped to help students develop problem-solving skills and exam confidence. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and can include explanations of difficult topics, worked examples, and exam-style practice questions. I teach students from GCSE to A-level, particularly in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics, and adapt my teaching style to suit each student's learning pace and goals.
