About Jacinta
Hi, I'm Jacinta! I have a passion for science and math, and would love to share my love with my students by helping boost their confidence, assist with their classwork and ensure overall understanding in the topics! My goal is to make learning fun and enjoyable, and to avoid feeling overwhelmed or stressed when studying difficult subjects! I graduated high school myself in 2021 as a HSC Dux, earning 3 band 6s including Advanced Mathematics! I received an ATAR of 95.90 and 1st place ranks at my school in Physics and Chemistry, as well as 2nd place in Adv and Ext Math. I am currently a fourth year University student studying a Bachelor of Science/Secondary Education at UNSW, on my way to be accredited as a high school science teacher. I am majoring in Pathology so that I can teach senior Chemistry and Biology! I also work on the side as a Gamemaster at an Escape Room and love puzzles!

I have 1 year experience as a teacher's aide which included tutoring/supporting Year 7 - 10 Mathematics and Science as well as HSC Standard Math. I also have 2 year's worth of private one-on-one tutoring experience in junior science and math! I am available to tutor either online or in person! The lessons will be tailored specifically to what you need, whether it be focusing on understanding foundational topics, practicing harder questions, assisting with classwork or preparing for exams. The lessons will either follow your classwork or go ahead following the Australian curriculum. The length and whereabouts of the lesson are flexible and chosen by you.
