About Jean
I am a Civil Engineering student at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have worked professionally as a math tutor for 4 years, but have had experience for 10 years. I have helped students inside and outside of my classes understand this subject better. I've helped multiple students improve their grades and pass their classes by bettering their understanding of math. This also helped them gain more confidence in their other classes.

I can recognize right away where a student needs help with in math, and I will focus on those problems. I can make up my own little "pre-test" or I will use the material that the student has. I can make up multiple examples on the spot to test how well they understand the material. All my students have stated after our lessons that they can't believe it's that easy! I can teach this difficult subject in a simple and easy to understand way.
