With over 7 years of experience in singing and solfege, I bring a deep understanding of vocal techniques and musicality to my lessons. As a songwriter and music band leader, I have honed my skills in both performance and teaching, ensuring each student gets a professional yet approachable experience. My approach to vocal training focuses on helping beginners build confidence and develop their unique voice through foundational techniques. I emphasize the basics of vocal warming, understanding breath control, and unlocking vocal potential step by step. Lessons include essential music theory knowledge and exercises to familiarize students with their voice box, helping them understand how their voice works and how to use it effectively.
A typical lesson starts with gentle vocal warm-ups to prepare the voice, followed by exercises designed to improve pitch, tone, and control. We then move into basic music theory, exploring rhythm and melody, and applying these concepts to simple songs. Each session ends with feedback and a personalized practice plan to ensure steady progress.
What sets me apart is my ability to make learning approachable and fun while focusing on each student’s strengths. My teaching style is supportive and creative, encouraging students to explore their voices and develop their musical skills at their own pace.
These lessons are ideal for beginners who want to build a strong foundation in vocal techniques, gain confidence in their singing abilities, and deepen their understanding of music theory.
