About Shar

I'm an accomplished ESL teacher with a rich teaching history spanning over a decade. My diverse experience includes working with students from various cultural backgrounds, both internationally and domestically. I pursued my education in philosophy at UC Berkeley and earned a double major degree from UCLA. Fluent in Persian, I hold certifications in TESOL and online teaching. My strengths lie in promoting cooperative learning and excelling in teaching all language skill areas, such as speaking, listening, grammar, reading, and writing. I find joy in assisting students in improving their conversational skills with Americans and enhancing their confidence in presenting ideas. Described by students as highly engaging, patient, and dedicated, my teaching approach is characterized by kindness and adaptability. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment, and my commitment to students' success is evident in the tangible progress they achieve under my guidance.

About the lesson

As an ESL teacher offering online classes, my approach is tailored to accommodate learners of all levels and ages. My lessons are crafted to be engaging, interactive, and effective, ensuring that you receive personalized attention and guidance. Whether teaching young learners to grasp basic vocabulary or assisting advanced students with nuanced grammar structures, I foster a supportive learning environment where you feel encouraged to participate and grow. Through a combination of multimedia resources, interactive activities, and clear explanations, I aim to make language learning both enjoyable and accessible. My teaching philosophy prioritizes a secure and adaptable learning environment, emphasizing patience, engagement, and support.
