About Lily
With 6 years of experience as a Biology tutor, I have helped students build strong subject knowledge while developing the confidence needed to succeed academically. I am passionate about making Biology understandable and interesting by connecting scientific concepts with real-world examples and everyday life.
Every student has different strengths and challenges, so I personalise my lessons according to their level, learning preferences, and goals. Whether you are preparing for an examination, catching up on missed topics, or looking to achieve higher grades, I can structure our sessions around your individual needs.
We can explore topics such as cells, genetics, evolution, ecology, reproduction, human physiology, microorganisms, and molecular Biology. I break complicated processes into clear steps and use diagrams, explanations, questions, and practical examples to reinforce understanding.
I believe effective Biology tutoring should develop more than factual knowledge. I help students learn how to analyse information, interpret diagrams and data, apply concepts to unfamiliar questions, and communicate scientific ideas clearly. For exam preparation, we can also practise past-paper and exam-style questions while identifying areas that require further attention.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I aim to create a comfortable atmosphere where students can ask questions freely and learn from mistakes. My ultimate goal is to help you become a confident, independent, and successful Biology learner.

I offer personalised Biology lessons that focus on understanding, confidence, and steady progress. From cells and DNA to ecosystems, physiology, genetics, and evolution, we can explore the areas of Biology you find most challenging. Lessons can include visual explanations, real-world examples, practice questions, exam-style problems, and active discussion to reinforce your knowledge and develop your ability to apply what you have learned.
