Your needs are my top priority. Every lesson is carefully designed to address both your immediate goals—whether preparing for an exam or completing coursework—and your long-term development and passion for history. I believe tutoring should be flexible and responsive, so lessons can be as short or as long as necessary, fully tailored to suit your individual learning style, pace, and interests.
My approach combines clear guidance on what examiners and coursework assessors expect with deep engagement in the subject matter. Whether you need focused support to pass a specific test or want to explore history more broadly, I create a personalised plan that balances practical skills and intellectual curiosity.
A typical lesson might start with reviewing your current progress and challenges, followed by targeted discussion, analysis, or practice activities. We’ll work together to clarify complex concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and build confidence in your knowledge and writing. I also provide constructive feedback and help you develop effective study habits.
With experience as a tutor, lecturer, and marker, I understand academic requirements from multiple angles and can guide you through every step. My goal is not just to help you succeed but to inspire a lasting passion for history that extends beyond exams.

Rebecca has a real passion and enthusiasm for history and an affinity for teaching others. Her friendly nature makes it easy for her to build rapport with students and making them feel comfortable in coming to her with any questions or problems.
I would definitely recommend Rebecca for this role to enable to share more of her love of history and help others.Rebecca has such a passion and knowledge for history that is contagious.
My daughter has moved to the top of her stream in history with Rebecca's encouragement and tutoring. Rebecca brought the history to life and gave my daughter a love for the subject that she had struggled with before.
I would 100% recommend Rebecca as a tutor and have complete confidence in her ability to successfully support and tutor any young person through their history exams.View more recommendations
