About Jessica
Hi! I'm Jess, an enthusiastic and committed online tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others learn. I specialise in tutoring English Literature, Geography and Politics. My approach is friendly and positive tailored to a student's needs, I know how frustrating it can feel to struggle with a topic, so I focus on breaking things down clearly and building confidence step by step. I am currently studying Politics and International Relations, and I understand and relate to what students are going through as I have been there myself. Whether you're preparing for exams, trying to boost your grades, or just need help understanding something better, I’m here to support you.

My approach to tutoring is personalised and supportive with a goal to build confidence, develop clear understanding and to create a fun learning environment that will allow students to achieve their full potential. Each lesson would be tailored to a student's needs and would include a combination of detailed and interactive explanations, active recall methods, real-world case studies, quizzes and most importantly ongoing feedback, encouragement and support. Typical sessions would be 60 minute lessons however if a student needed a shorter or longer lesson this could be arranged. I have achieved A*AA in my A-levels. Recently being in the position of a GCSE and A-level student allows me to understand your personal experience of revision and learning. This has allowed me to develop efficient and effective revision and learning methods that allowed me to achieve the grades I received.
